Classroom 10-pack of this popular plastic woodwind instrument in the key of C with one copy of Windstars teacher's book.  Young students will LOVE these exciting instruments ! The 'DooD' is an authentic clarinet sound, with easy recorder fingering!

Supplied as an outfit with clarinet mouthpiece, reed and case, this wonderful, colourful instrument is in the key of 'C' (covering a one octave chromatic range), and is ideal for young players wishing to extract results quickly. A distant descendant of the traditional French instrument the Chalumeau, the DooD utilises the same fingering system as a recorder, and this is backed up by a simple, durable key cover system which helps smaller hands to close the tone holes. An adjustable thumb rest is incorporated for playing comfort.

Two Nuvo reeds, a fingering chart and an instrument case are included as part of the set. In time, the player can move on either to stronger Nuvo reeds or even traditional cane reeds - Eb clarinet reeds are also compatible with the mouthpiece.

Supplied in random mixed colours with a copy fo the Windstars Teachers book. Designed for ages 5-9, with an emphasis on Sound Before Sight. Level 1 books are written for the general music classroom and level one encourages students to learn by ear as much as possible. This level is available in either standard or iconic notation. Students will use instruments to explore their own musical creativity, develop fine and gross motor skills, and proper playing techniques.
