We Think

An exciting rival to Yamaha's DGX670 model, this is the XE20 Digital Ensemble Piano from Korg (who know a thing or two about electronic keyboards and synths!)

The XE20 boasts an 88-note natural-touch keyboard and contains two full concert grand pianos. It also includes automatic accompaniment so users can go from practicing their favorite songs to performing them at the touch of a button.

A complete array of auto accompaniment styles can be accessed with your left hand, giving you the backing of a full band that you control completely. Play chords, and XE-20 will follow your changes in any style you select. Change variations with a single touch. Add fills wherever you want - it’s a completely live and in-the-moment way of performing!

Drums, synths, orchestral sounds are onboard and with styles from around teh world, there is no shortage of inspiring variation. All of this is monitored via the powerful 18w stereo speaker system whilst connections include audio outs, USB and memorystick slot.

Supplied with a music rest, mains adaptor and a single damper pedal, Korg's XE20 features a graded weighted hammer action keyboard to provide a true acoustic piano feel lower keys feel heavier and get lighter as you play upward. The keyboard is finely balanced, providing a natural, effortless playing experience.

Slimline and portable, the XE20 is available with it's official fixed frame matching stand and 3-pedal system (available as the XE20SP shown here).

Essentially a 'standalone' model which is ideal for the classroom, the Korg XE20 is USB compatible and can therefore be connected to a PC/Mac system whilst audio outs allow it to connect to a school's PA system for performances!
