Casio CT-S1

Employing Casio's respected Aix sound technology, the CT-S1 (available in black, red or white) is a portable desktop practice piano for the beginner, but boasts USB, 61 touch-sensitive keys and just the essential tones onboard. No distracting features with this model!

Compact too, the CT-S1 is a good alternative to other brands designs in the popular 'portable compact piano' category, and is therefore ideal for students as a 'standalone' desktop model, or ideal also for programming music software due to the USB (micro B) socket.

No frills (maybe a few effects onboard such as reverb, chorus and delay to further enhance the 61 onboard tones), as the CT-S1 has been carefully devised for sudents who want to learn to play - NOT experiment with rhythm, synthesizers etc.

Turn it on, and you are presented with a 9ft German concert grand sample! Strings, electric pianos, organs, clavi and guitars are just some of the other onboard voices.

Extremely easy to use, the CT-S1 offers a layer facility and even some famous retro Casio tones, and all of these voices can be monitored via the bass-reflex 2.3w stereo speaker system (or via optional headphones in silence - the CT-S1 has a MINI jack socket for headphones).

Powered by 6 x AA batteries or with an optional mains adaptor EPA95100, the CT-S100 is ideal for school music departments, whether connecting to a computer, or for teaching some of the fundamentals of music.
