Yamaha Piaggero NP-15

An update to the amazingly successful NP12 desktop piano which has been hugely popular in school classrooms, this is the Yamaha NP-15 with a few minor updates and a more compact, lighter chassis.

The NP15 offers 15 important onboard tones in total with a few extra reverb (hall) effects and is recommended for music teachers who just require the very basics for teaching (NO demo buttons or drums on this one!)

A basic 1-track song recorder is onboard and layering of two sounds is possible.

Ideal as a 'standalone' desktop model for general teaching and as a USB controller for music software programs, the NP-15offers players an elongated 76-note keyboard with 'semi-weighted' BOX-style keys, providing a slightly more resistant action.

Supplied with a mains adaptor (with battery power as an option), the NP15 includes a premium acoustic piano voice, along with electric pianos, strings, organs and haprichords.

With 64-notes of polyphony, the built-in 2.5w speakers are suited to practice rather than performance, and there are no audio outputs to be found (although a standard 6.35mm headphone jack is provided for silent practice).

Although not supplied with a pedal, an optional FC3 sustain/damper can be connected and 'half-pedalling' is supported.
