Employing Casio's superb AiX voicing technology, the CT-S500 5-octave music keyboard is ideal for the Music Technology Department and for the casual player, offering a wide range of expressive features and versatility.

Lightweight and portable, the CT-S500 boasts 'AiX' sounds, from shimmering strings throuogh to powerful drums, realistic pianos ...and just about everything else in between (it offers 800 onboard voices in fact).

At this level, the CTS500 has touch-sensitive keys for a greater level of expression, a pitchbend wheel for sliding notes and line input socket as well as USB for computer / device connection. Students can record too, as the CT-S500 has an onboard song sequencer offering 6-tracks and 5 song storage.

No sound effects buttons or 'Dance Mode' on this design (teachers take note!), it is battery or mains powered (Casio Ad-A12150LW power supply is included).

With advanced features such as onboard sampling allowing you to capture your own sounds and play them, together with 64 registration memories and improved polyphony (now 64-notes), the CT-S500 is suprisingly easy to use, with quick results!

It offers firm buttons and an LCD for quick navigation. Note that it features a MINI jack socket for connecting headphones for silent practice, and type A (mirco B) USB socket for connecting to Mac/PC systems.
