Many of our customers ask us to recommend a simple five-octave keyboard WITHOUT hundreds of voices and rhythms, and this would be one of the most likely contenders.  This 'Starland Solutions' classroom pack is based on five NP12 desktop pianos, a highly popular lightweight and compact 'practice' model, supplied with a mains adaptors and enough splitter leads and sturdy Numark headphones for 10 students.

At just 4.5Kg, the NP-15 is extremely portable and practical and, with just 15 IMPORTANT onboard sounds (pianos, electric pianos, harpsichord, strings etc), there is little to play with. However, the sounds employ Yamaha's acclaimed AWM sound engine, along with a superb premium acoustic piano voice. All of the sounds can be heard via the onboard speakers (2 x 2.5w output), and a simple song recorder is also at hand. For those who wish to record via computer software, the NP15 now has USB compatibility.

Although not supplied with a pedal, an optional FC3 sustain/damper can be connected and 'half-pedalling' is supported.
